Is Oxygen Sequestration a Good Idea?

It’s called “Carbon Sequestration” and stations like this one are starting to pop up all over the country, they pump massive amounts of CO2 deep underground where it won’t cause any global warming. I think there are a couple of problems with this, for one thing they are not pumping “Carbon” underground but rather CO2, there is a big difference.
Coal and other fossil fuels are primarily made up of Carbon and when they are burned those Carbon molecules attach themselves to Oxygen molecules to form CO2. They do this at a two to one ratio, hence CO2. So for every Carbon molecule they are sequestering (for eternity) they also sequestering 2 Oxygen molecules. Oxygen is actually a good thing and we only have a finite number of Oxygen molecules.
The primary way oxygen is produces is when plants take CO2 from the atmosphere capture the Carbon molecule and release the 2 oxygen molecules into the atmosphere for us to breath. The more CO2 in the atmosphere the more plant growth there is and then we get more Oxygen as well. It’s the symbiotic relation between man and plants called photosynthesis and it’s been the driving force of life on this planet for millenia and it seems to work pretty well and I think we shouldn’t mess with it.

The other question I have with “Carbon Sequestration” is what are they displacing? These machines pump thousand of pounds of CO2 underground, could this be the cause of all those unexplained underground explosions people are hearing? Someone should see if there are Sequestration stations close to where these explosions are taking place.
