Whatever you call them, there is something going on up there and I'm pretty sure jets are doing it.

Have you looked up at the sky in the last decade? If you have and if you're paying attention, you've noticed something looks different. Jets are leaving trails that go from one horizon to the other and they often don't dissipate but rather expand and even turn into clouds.

Many times I have seen what started out as a clear sky end up covered with Jet Exhaust Trails which turn the sky hazy or even cloudy.

Recently there have been a couple of articles written on the subject of Chemtrails and Global Warming. One was written by the Dr. Tim Ball, a Global Warming skeptic whom I have great respect for, the other was written by David Suzuki who believes in Global Warming. They are both however Chemtrail Deniers and they say that the trails you see in the sky are Contrails not Chemtrails.

Dr. Ball is consistent in his denial of both Global Warming and Chemtrails, Mr. Suzuki believes in Global Warming but is a Chemtrail denier. I am the complete opposite of Mr. Suzuki I am a Global Warming denier but I believe in Chemtrails.

We all agree that there are trails up in the upper atmosphere caused by jets, we however disagree on what to call them. Moreover, Ball and Suzuki both say these trails are just naturally occurring condensation, I on the other hand think that they are man-made.

Mr. Suzuki believes there is a correlation between those who deny Global Warming but believe in Chemtrails by saying:

"But what interests me is the connection between climate change denial and belief in chemtrails. Why do so many people accept a theory for which there is no scientific evidence while rejecting a serious and potentially catastrophic phenomenon that can be easily observed and for which overwhelming evidence has been building for decades?"

I am the only Global Warming Denier that I know of who also believes in Chemtrails, so when Mr. Suzuki says "so many people" he's basically talking about me, and it's a lonely pace.

For the purpose of addressing Mr. Suziki's interest in my beliefs I am NOT going to use either of the terms Chemtrails or Contrails rather I am going to call them Jet Exhaust Trails because both sides agree that they are trails made by jet exhaust.

To answer Mr. Suzuki's question, I don't believe in Global Warming because I have NOT observed it. I can't see it, it doesn't feel any warmer to me. I really haven't noticed any effects from the whopping 10 parts per million (.00001) increase of CO2 in the atmosphere over the last decade. I also haven't noticed any of the other catastrophes that are supposed to be attached to Global Warming.

Arctic sea ice is at an all time high, polar bear numbers are way up, hurricanes are way down and 4 of the 5 snowiest winters on record occurred in the last decade. In my mind Global Warming only exists in cooked graphs, biased studies, slanted magazines, propaganda like documentaries and in juicy public grants.

On the other hand I believe that Jet Exhaust Trails exist because I can see them. I see them almost every day and I keep track of how many there are, how they spread and how they turn the sky cloudy. They are easily observed by tilting your head at an upward angle with your eyes open, it is best if you are outdoors in an open area or in a tall building with a good view.

My question for Mr. Suzuki is:

Wouldn't a wide spread ,visible, man-made cloud cover have more of an impact on the weather/climate than a slight increase in an invisible, beneficial, trace gas?

At least Dr. Ball in his article admits there has indeed been an increase in Jet Exhaust Trails in the last decade or so, his theory is that jets are flying higher then they used to and there are more of them. Both of those points seem anecdotal to me, he doesn't back them up with any charts or statistics. I thought jets have always flown at around 30,000 ft. and I thought the number of flights have been down ever since 911 and down more recently since the TSA is making flying more and more awkward.

But for the sake of argument let's say Dr. Ball is right and that Jet Exhaust Trails are a natural occurrence created when thousands of jets fly near the stratosphere at almost the speed of sound.

My question for Dr. Ball is:

Aren't Jet Exhaust Trails a man-made phenomena that could impact the environment, regardless if they're intentional or unintentional?

Hundreds of thousands of flights take off and land every day creating hundreds of thousands of Jet Exhaust Trails in the upper troposphere all around the globe. These trails linger and expand and create clouds, couldn't that have some impact on the weather/climate?

Wouldn't a man-made Jet Exhaust Trail haze act as a sun screen and possibly cool the planet? Maybe the increase in Jet Exhaust Trails explains the pause of any warming over the last 15 years.

Which brings me back to Mr. Suzuki in his article he says:

"Scientists have tested and used cloud and atmospheric seeding for weather modification and considered them as ways to slow global warming."

So, Mr. Suzuki thinks I'm crazy for observing jet emissions that create clouds that could possibly modify the weather but admits that scientists have used jet emissions to create clouds to modify the weather.
